The Accident Lawyers Network BlogAccident Lawyers NetworkMonday, February 2, 2009Tour Bus Crashes Near Hoover DamA bus carrying Chinese tourists crashed on a rural part of an Arizona highway near the Hoover Dam on Friday killing seven people and injuring ten more. Two people are still in critical condition. The bus was returning to Las Vegas from a visit to the Grand Canyon when it suddenly veered right then left on the highway before hitting a median, and rolling at least one time. Investigators are conducting interviews and looking at the bus to see what may have caused the accident. They will look at the brakes, wheels and mechanical functions to see if any of these played a part, as well as will interview the 48-year-old bus driver. Weather conditions at the time of the accident were clear and calm. Injuries run the gamut from spinal cord injuries to head injuries to fractures.
