The officer was responding to a call to assist another officer just after 4:00am Sunday when he was hit by a 2007 Dodge Magnum at an intersection. The 23-year-old driver of the Magnum was arrested on a DWI charge. He also has an open date for another drunken driving incident he was arrested for on January 4th.
