The driver was injured, and reportedly lucky to be alive. The accident is blamed on the 51-year-old driver of a car speeding and then making an unsafe lane change. The vehicle swerved into the UPS truck, causing the UPS driver to lose control. The truck hit the guardrail and flew 50 feet through the air before landing on the roadway below. Landing between two trees probably saved the life of the driver, according to rescue workers. The driver was taken to the hospital and is in unknown condition. The driver of the other vehicle was arrested for driving under the influence.
